HRI European Graduate Network Symposium 2018

HRI-EU hosted the 6th HRI European Graduate Network Symposium with 38 scientific presentations and more than 100 participants.
The Honda Research Institute Europe has hosted the 6th HRI European Graduate Network Symposium on September 26 and 27 to foster scientific discussions and exchange about our joint university research activities in Europe and around the world.


Human-Robot Cooperative Object Manipulation with Contact Changes

The first results of the Dexterous Cooperation project will be published at the 2018 International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS). The project’s goal is the development of intelligent collaborative robot systems that can carry out sequential tasks in cooperation with human co-workers.

Cologne, September 12, 2017 – Online Challenge: 20 K prize money for a robot head and its interaction design.
In cooperation with hack.institute Cologne, Honda Research Institute Europe is looking for an innovative design for a head and face of its multi-entity research platform consisting of a mobile assistant robot, a table-top robot and a virtual avatar.
