While the existence of a measure-theoretic (i.e. continuous and discrete-continuously mixed) partial information decomposition has been established recently, the work of Schick-Poland et. al was not concluded with an explicit form of the resulting generalized measure. In this talk, I will not only elaborate on the properties of the measure-theoretic information measure of redundant information, but will also demonstrate an approximation of the measure-theoretic formulation and how to use it in the context of estimation of partial information quantities from real-world data.
