	abstract = {Robotic butlers relieving users from domestic chores are currently dominating
the media narration on AI and letting the public phantasize of a near future
where these systems will smoothly navigate our private spaces and interact with
us in a natural and transparent way. This vision will hardly be realized as long
as potential users are not able to interpret and trust such autonomous systems.
This can only happen by negotiating with them a common interpretation of the
environment [7], the service to provide [4], and the way to communicate.
While working on a robotic system able to learn from users in a domestic
context and to interact with them in a supportive way, we iteratively explored
and assessed technical and communication requirements for different human-
robot interaction scenarios. Here we sum up results and lesson learned from
four different studies, revisiting them from the perspective of the conceptual
framework proposed in [5] and computationally formalized in [2].},
