abstract = {This paper describes a simulation system for a smart building complex that integrates local energy production, flexible loads and energy storage with electric mobility. Our target is to increase overall efficiency of the building complex and thus reduce costs and greenhouse gas emissions. To achieve this we developed a digital twin model of the considered building complex including energy supply and charging infrastructure utilizing the Green City simulation models in ESI ITI{\textquoteright}s SimulationX. This digital twin is employed for testing future system configurations, smart maintenance and development of energy management systems. To enable testing of advanced controller concepts we employ the Functional Mockup Interface (FMI) technology to link the developed simulation models with external controller software developed in Python.},
